HOW TO ORDER

Ordering is quite easy. Once you see anything of your interest, just send me an e-mail message to orders@edelweissminerals.com indicating reference, mineral, locality and price of the specimen(s) you are interested in. I will generally respond within 24 hours confirming the specimen(s) availability and total cost (including shipping) of your order. Specimen(s) will be marked "Reserved" for two days awaiting your confirmation, then "Sold".

Please, remember to include in your message your full name and mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address.

 

SHIPPING

Once I receive your payment (see below) I will pack the specimen(s) and send the parcel. Orders will be sent by registered air mail via the Spanish Postal Service as "Mineral specimens for collection only, no commercial value" with no price tags inside the parcels. Invoices will be sent under separate cover.

If you prefer I can send your order by UPS or Fedex. Both are more expensive than the Postal Service (although probably faster) and you may have to pay Customs Taxes at your country.

Shipping charges will be included in the total cost of your order. For your consideration, depending on a number of factors (size, weight, amount insured, destination, etc.), Postal Service rates may vary between 5 € to 10 € to Spain, 10 € to 20 € to the European Union and 15 € to 35 € to other countries. Exceptions may apply to large, heavy parcels.

 

PAYMENT

You can pay by PayPal (see below), International Postal Money Order or Western Union.

In Spain and a number of European countries I can also accept cash on delivery, please ask. Checks may also be accepted but I strongly discourage to use them as a method of payment since they are very slow (they should arrive and then have to be cleared at my bank and both take some time) and you have to add an additional 6 € (the amount my bank charges for processing them).

If you have a PayPal account, you can pay your order by selecting the "Send Money" option in your PayPal Account page. Please, do not send any money until I confirm the availability of specimens and the total cost of your order including shipping charges. Once I let you know the final amount be sure to indicate my e-mail as felix@edelweissminerals.com when giving the "Recipient's E-mail".

You can also pay by credit card through PayPal with the cards accepted by them. You do not have to give me your credit card details, everything is done at the PayPal site.

RETURNS

I have tried to photograph the specimens as accurately as possible. However I understand that seing a picture of a mineral on the internet is not the same than holding the specimen itself in your hand. Once you receive your order, please let me know by sending an e-mail wether or not you are happy with the specimens and wether you intend to return anything.

If you finally want to return any specimen, just let me know within the 10 days after you receive it. Please, pack it carefully and send it by insured registered air mail (at your cost) so it will be possible to track. I will refund the cost of the specimen (less the shipping cost) once I receive it back in the original condition. If the specimen is not here in Salamanca after 15 days (in Spain) or 30 days (overseas) I will assume that you intend to keep it and it will definitely be sold.
