WPAN-11 - Apatite, tourmaline and siderite on muscovite Barroca Grande Mine, Panasqueira, near Silvares (Fundao, Portugal) Floater mass of fine-grained silvery muscovite serving as a matrix for numerous lustrous green apatite crystals to 1 cm. across, doubly terminated arsenopyrite crystals to 0.8 cm., creamy tabular hexagonal crystals of siderite to 1 cm. across and a few tourmaline-included quartz crystals to 1.5 cm. long. The whole specimen is finally covered by lustrous thin acicular tourmaline neddles to 1.5 cm. long. Some bruising at the edges of the muscovite mass, otherwise undamaged. A very fine and interesting specimen. 11x5.5x4.5 - Sold |

WPAN-4 - Siderite and muscovite Barroca Grande Mine, Panasqueira, near Silvares (Fundao, Portugal) Group of creamy siderite crystals to 4.5x2 cm. with silky luster, partly flattened by contact, on a bed of muscovite. At bottom the muscovite forms rosettes of hexagonal crystals to 0.8 cm. There are tiny globules of golden pyrite on the muscovite as well as a couple of small quartz crystals. Some bruising at the muscovite at bottom and a small cleaved area in the siderite. 6x5x2.2 - 15 € |

WPAN-13 - Siderite and quartz Barroca Grande Mine, Panasqueira, near Silvares (Fundao, Portugal) Group of creamy crystals of siderite to about 2.5 cm. attached to a partial translucent white quartz crystal recrystallized at back. There is an area with rosettes of hexagonal muscovite crystals to 4 mm. and a scattering of brassy microcrystals of probably marcasite on the siderite. The quartz presents a 3-mm. included black crystal of sphalerite. Siderite at back is contacted and the muscovite crystals present some bruising, otherwise undamaged. 7x5x3.5 - 20 € |

WPAN-14 - Ferberite and siderite Level 3, Barroca Grande Mine, Panasqueira, near Silvares (Fundao, Portugal) Cluster of silky-lustered creamy prismatic hexagonal crystals of siderite to about 0.5 cm. across with a black composite 3.1x2.3x0.8-cm. crystal of ferberite attached at back. Sandwiched in between there are some lustrous almost colorless crystals of apatite and the whole is partly coated by 1-mm. white rhombs of calcite. Just at center one siderite crystal is cleaved, otherwise quite well. 3.2x3x2.5 - 12 € |
